Ink-receiving layers are split into two layers and an enhancer amplifies the light in the resin-coat layer. A neutral white is used for the color of the paper. To realize the greater colour gamut the Platinum Pro paper should be used with Canon's ChromaLife100 inks. The paper also boasts richer and deeper blacks and the greater image longevity. It certainly has a luxurious texture with superb vivid colours and gradation on high resolution images.
